Agency
We can provide port clearance services, cargo handling procedures, crew and immigration services, and other administrative services. We have own offices in East Africa where we provide full commercial agency for both vessel operators and NVOCs.
Port procedures depend on the Port of call, however in general we operate these procedures:
Coordinating with the port authorities to obtain necessary permits and clearances for the vessel's arrival and departure.
Arranging for pilotage and tug services to assist with vessel maneuvering and docking.
Coordinating with stevedores and terminal operators to facilitate cargo loading and unloading operations.
Arranging for bunkering, fresh water supply, and other provisions to be delivered to the vessel.
Coordinating with immigration and customs officials to facilitate crew changes, visa requirements, and customs clearances.
Coordinating with surveyors, repair teams, and other service providers to address any vessel maintenance or repair needs.
Handling administrative tasks such as documenting the vessel's movements and submitting required reports to port authorities and the principal.
Providing regular updates and communication with the principal regarding the vessel's status and any issues that arise during the port call.
Green Crew Change
One of our key offerings is the opportunity for Shipowners/managers to convert their current crew change process into Green mode. This includes a systemized process change analysis to replace current procedures with those that provide a reduced carbon footprint.
Our team will ensure that from crew pick-up (at the airport or the vessel) to drop off (at the airport or the vessel), all services are eco-friendly. From the use of electric vehicles to hotels which have been audited to show a reduced carbon footprint, our team will document the whole journey and provide a full report on the reduction calculation.
This ensures that Shipowners/managers can document their efforts in carbon reduction which can be reported as part of the regulated ESG reporting, and can rest assured that they are playing their part in ensuring a cleaner tomorrow.
